Jorge Vidal
Our main bilingual trip leader is Jorge Vidal. Jorge has been guiding Mexican and foreign travelers for many years to the numerous beautiful places found in Veracruz. His wit and humor are always a hit with our travel clients. Jorge, his wife Mitzhy, and their 2 young daughters live in the seaside village of Chachalacas where they also own and personally operate a small hotel which is one of the hotels we use for our clients.

Christopher (Wade) Hurst
Originally from Southern California, our alpine mountain guide, Wade (Christopher) Hurst worked for many years in the western United States as a mountain climbing and river rafting guide. He now runs New World Adventures, a company which leads excursions up to the base camp of Pico de Orizaba, downhill mountain bike rides, and other adventure trips in the higher altitude areas of Veracruz, Mexico. Wade also runs a first-class lodge which is surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery, including the majestic snow-capped Pico de Orizaba.

Gabriel (Gabo) Gómez Rosete
Gabo is the director of Mountain Sports México, a tourism and consulting company dedicated to management, design, and development of ecotourism projects in the higher elevations found in the states of Veracruz, Puebla, and Oaxaca. He is an expert mountain climber and a specialist in mountain rescue. Gabo personally leads our small groups of adventure travelers on hikes and rappels in the mountains and canyons of Veracruz.

Mario Mexico Vidal One of our bilingual guides who leads our clients to various locations throughout Veracruz. He is skilled in river rafting, trekking, rappelling, and sometimes drives the 4x4 vehicle used in our mountain trips. He is also very knowledgeable in the history of Veracruz and its many ancient ruins. Mario's attentiveness to our client's needs and great humor always puts smiles on their faces.

The Rodríguez Brothers
Our local native white water river rafting guides are a group of brothers and their staff who operate a first class river rafting company and other outdoor adventure activities. They were all trained and certified at one of the foremost white water river rafting guide schools in Canada. For many years now, they have been successfully leading hundreds of people on fun and exciting white water adventure rafting trips in Veracruz.

Manuel Victoria and Silvana Ocaña Marx The husband/wife team of Manuel Victoria and Silvana Ocaña Marx have been operating a fleet of dive boats and a dive shop located in the city of Veracruz for many years. They provide sport diving trips at all levels and are certified with PADI, NAUI, SSI, and FMAS/CMAS. For the non-diver, they also have snorkeling trips to the adjacent coral reefs found near to the city.

Angel Luis Requejo Gutierrez Angel Luis Requejo Gutierrez knows ocean fishing. He is the Veracruz state representative for the International Gaming Fish Association (IGFA). From the Veracruz Yacht Club, he personally leads our one day fishing excursions on his 24' boat. Angel lives in the port city with his family and speaks English fluently.

Jesus & Lucia Estibalet Jesus Estibalet and his wife, Lucia lead our travel clients in and around the tropical lakeside town of Catemaco. When their 2 young boys are not in school, you may find them tagging along with your group as they also want to play in the clear waters found under the hidden jungle waterfalls and explore the other places you may go. Lucia speaks English and although Jesus is not fluent, he knows quite a bit. They lived and worked in Indiana for several years before moving back to Veracruz.

"Pepe" Organista
Pepe is our main tour boat guide on Lake Catemaco. He has been entertaining Mexican and foreign travelers on his interesting and fun boat tours for many years. Pepe does not speak English but all of our trips have a personal bilingual English/Spanish speaking guide to translate for your group.

Erick Organista
Erick Organista (Pepe's son) is the owner of El Tigrillo, a small nature reserve carved out of the thick tropical jungle found alongside Lake Catemaco in southern Veracruz. This reserve is unique in that it is only accessible by boat. It is there that Erick hosts our travel clients by helping them to experience the ancient ceremony called, Temazcal. At his reserve, you may also have the opportunity to experience a real Shaman who can perform a spiritual purification for you.

Cecilio Baxin Martinez
Born and raised with the tropical jungles of Veracruz in his backyard and Lake Catemaco in his front yard, Cecilio Baxin Martinez leads our river kayaking trip and sometimes guides our jungle treks. Cecilio is also a well-known expert on the many exotic flowers and plant life found in and around southern Veracruz. Wait until you see his own personal garden!

Alexander Ramírez For more than 40 years, Alexander Ramírez has been taking people on guided tours of Mexico City and the surrounding area, including the huge ancient ruins called, Teotihuacan. Alexander speaks fluent English and works with us on our extension trips. In the past, he has also lead Mexican tour groups to many places in Canada and the United States.
